Optus CMDM Integration
This project dealt with connecting Salesforce and Optus CMDM system together in order to share and synchronize customer information, specifically related to marketing consent. This would enable the organization to have a centralized, up-to-date view of customer's marketing consent status, which would improve the efficiency and compliance of the marketing processes.
What we did?
To setup a Bidirectional interface between Salesforce and internal Customer Master Database Management system to enable marketing communication, mass campaign and to be compliant with ACMA regulations
How we did it?
- Enabling real time data transfer related to customer marketing opt preference for compliance via REST API
- Bidirectional feeds from Salesforce and internal CMDM system to keep both the systems in sync
- Establishing interface using mutual authentication with internal WAF layer
The Outcome
- Maintained data integrity across all internal applications
- Enabling mass campaigns using SFMC
- Enabling nurture journeys capability while remaining compliant under spam laws
